Today, Dec. 9, at around 6:15am, I was again aghast as your UKG colleague Anthony Taberna made fun of the name of Isabela politician surnamed Dy, by pronouncing the name as "daya." I would like to again ask you to remind Mr. Anthony Taberna to show respect to the family names of people, no matter what issues such people are embroiled in at the moment.
Again I reiterate that his family name is not that nice either and can be cited in ways that would make it sound ugly etc.
I suggest that Mr. Taberna be professional and respectful, and not insult the names of people as it is actually a bad example among the young. We already know that the young do insult each other by making fun of each other's family name, and that is bad enough. That Mr. Taberna (or is it Taverna?), a supposedly mature person and a media personality at that, does the same act in UKG, a prestigious program of ABS-CBN, comes across like he is actually an immature, childish person, and, casts doubt on the program managers of ABS-CBN as to their ability to manage their talents such that good values and behavior on tv is always practised.
I suggest you remind him of this concern again.
